STOC Supply Chain Management Initiative: Export Workshop -- September 20

The Southern Tier Opportunity Coalition is organizing a Supply Chain Initiative: Export Workshop after the success of the earlier one this year.

The Southern Tier Opportunity Coalition (STOC) is engaged in a Supply Chain Initiative to elevate the practice of supply chain management in the Greater Binghamton region through education and training.  In addition, STOC has a dual objective of developing new business and increasing the demand for existing products and services.  To this end, STOC is developing a series of workshops focused on increasing demand through supply chain activities.

In April of this year STOC co-sponsored a workshop at Binghamton University which focused on helping companies to build demand through their supply chain operations. 

STOC is working with FedEx, Mohawk Globaland MeadWestvaco to offer a second workshop, planned for September 20, to help companies build demand through the growth of existing and development of new export business.

STOC is distributing the attached survey to gather information to ensure that the export workshop is properly structured to address the needs of Greater Binghamton businesses.
