STOC / S3IP Technology Awards -- Request for Candidate Applications

STOC and The New York State Center of Excellence in Small Scale Systems Integration and Packaging (S3IP), at Binghamton University, have partnered to recognize exceptional technology leaders at the S3IP Annual Dinner. Nominations are being sought for the following:
Inventor of the Year
Technology Enrepreneur of the Year
Technology Mentor of the Year
The Southern Tier Opportunity Coalition and The New York State Center of Excellence in Small Scale Systems Integration and Packaging (S3IP) have come together to recognize outstanding technology leaders in our community. At the S3IP Annual Dinner Meeting, scheduled for November 12, 2008, awards will be presented to awardees in the following categories:
1) Inventor of the Year
This recognition is awarded to an individual who has shaped the technology community through sustained excellence in inventions and patents that have a significant impact on the industry.
2) Technology Entrepreneur of the Year
This recognition is awarded to an individual who has contributed to the development of the Technology economy through the formation of new businesses, generation of wealth and exemplifying the risk-taking entrepreneurial spirit
3) Technology Mentor of the Year
This recognition is awarded to an individual who has shaped the technology community through championing the STOC vision as well as by offering their time, expertise and knowledge networks in support of individual technology companies
Nominations will be excepted from the STOC region: Broome, Tioga, Cortland, Chenango, Delaware, Otsego, and Chemung counties for these awards.
All nominations for each award must be accompanied by a full resume and a one page summary matching the specific award criteria to the candidate's accomplishments.
