Fahs Construction, a private company founded in 1947 and based in Binghamton, recently joined STOC. Originally a commercial paving contractor, Fahs now has three divisions focusing on general construction, sitework and paving for both private and public entities, and heavy highway construction with emphasis on major highways and bridges.
Fahs has done a wide range of construction for schools, waste water treatment plants, pre-engineered metal buildings and athletic facilities as well as hotels and senior living and assisted living facilities. Additionally, they have done numerous bid-build and design-build projects for the New York State Department of Transportation and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, and runway work for airports across the country. Fahs is the recipient of several awards for quality and innovation. |
