IBM Endicott has an empowered, talented and experienced workforce engaged in a diverse array of technology, software and services activities. The following groups are major partners at the Endicott site:
IBM Global Services e-Procurement provides project management, architecture, proposal and requirements work, design, code, test, deployment and maintenance services for Web and SAP based applications to internal IBM and commercial customers.
IBM Systems and Technology Group provides development and test support for the world-class System z virtualization technology employed by IBM System z customers world wide. . IBM Asset Recovery Center provides cost-competitive state-of-the-art reuse and recycling services, technology and information that minimizes environmental impact and ensures asset protection to internal IBM and external customer accounts. The ARC also performs a receipt, sort and disposal operation for all IBM and OEM used parts through its Used Parts Return operation. IBM Engineering and Technology Services provides a variety of leading-edge industry-focused information technology and engineering services including Digital circuit design, Analog/Mixed-Signal circuit design, Digital logic design, Chip hardware verification services, and embedded software/firmware to numerous clients.
IBM Business Consulting Services provides business value to clients through a Business Transformation Outsourcing (BTO) program that combines process, people and technology transformation with an outsourced delivery model
IBM Worldwide Accounts Payable provides services, controls and development in support of internal IBM globally and transformation and delivery services in support of external clients
IBM Printing Systems Company consolidates worldwide manufacturing, fulfillment and logistics responsibilities covering desktop office printers to the latest digital high volume production printers.
Since the site's founding more than 85 years ago, Endicott has been renowned as a leader in providing innovations and technical excellence. Today, this is most evident in our patent achievements. IBM received the most issued patents from the U.S. Patent Office of any company in the world for the thirteenth consecutive year. With only 2 percent of IBM's population, Endicott has consistently contributed 6% of IBM's patents during the same time period.
IBM Endicott has maintained a strong interactive partnership with Binghamton University through the T. J. Watson School of Engineering, Harpur College of Arts and Sciences, School of Management and the Executive MBA Program. IBM Endicott participates in co-research programs benefiting students' research in the University's two Research Centers...The Center for Computing Technologies (CCT) and The Integrated Electronics Engineering Center (IEEC). On March 30, 2006, IBM with their partner representatives from STOC, Mainline Information Systems and Binghamton University announced the launch of The Linux Technology Center. Located on the BU campus, the LTC will have cutting edge equipment and provide new opportunities to students. IBM is making a contribution worth two million dollars, in the form of hardware, software maintenance and training.
IBM Endicott historically has demonstrated a strong community presence, and nowhere is this more evident than in the site's external philanthropic programs.
