Michael Frame
In just two years, Michael Frame has had a multi-million impact on Binghamton
University. In his role as the liaison between the University, Congress and
federal agencies, Frame “was instrumental in shepherding $6 million in federal
funding for research initiatives at the University” says his supervisor. “Michael
is the consummate professional, always willing to go the extra mile...”
With a bachelor’s degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University,
Frame earned his master of public administration from Syracuse University.
He came to Binghamton in 2006, and, as one of the youngest directors of
university-based federal relations in the country, helps lead the University’s
efforts on educational, research and technology transfer policy issues.
A go-to person at many levels, Frame is also highly involved in the Technology-
Intellectual Taskforce for the National Association of State Universities and Land-Grant
Colleges (NASULGC), the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce Government
Affairs Committee and many others. He also chairs the Young Leaders Congress for
New York state – a group tasked with stemming the state’s net loss of young people. |
