Jillian Ladouceur

Jillian Ladouceur is an Event Recruiter in the American Cancer Society. Jillian loves to plan events and her current role with the American Cancer Society (ACS) allows her to do just that. A graduate of SUNY Cortland, Ladouceur earned a degree in communication studies with a concentration in public relations and advertising. She became chairperson of the Cortland Relay for Life while still a student, and she also interned with the Endicott ACS office. Generous with her time and energy, Ladouceur’s nominators note her “outstanding work ethic,” apparent since her days as a student, when she served on the Student Activities Board and student coordinator of the Connections Coffee-houses – providing non-alcoholic social events for students. As a leader, her supervisors note that Ladouceur “is able to motivate others to work with her as she mobilizes her various communities to greater service to others.” One way she has done this is to organize a blood drive for the American Red Cross at the ACS office. “She is the epitome of a great ACS staff person – she is passionate about improving the lives of cancer survivors and providing education to prevent cancer in the future.”
