Jeffrey Taylor

Jeffrey Taylor is a Center Manager/Lead Physical Therapist at UMA Physical Therapy. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences with a minor in psychology from the University of Delaware, Jeffrey Taylor continued his education, earning a doctor of physical therapy (DPT) degree from Duke University. Always involved in numerous service events to benefit charitable organizations, Taylor was honored with the Community Service Award at Delaware, and at Duke he received the Outstanding Student Recognition Award for demonstrated leadership, and intellectual curiosity and achievement. A basketball player at Vestal Senior High School, he was named the captain of the team while only a sophomore because he was considered a role model, and was recognized with the Thomas Schwann Memorial Award as the “unsung hero” in the Stop-DWI Holiday Basketball Tournament. Taylor’s supervisors say he is an inspiration to others and those around him. “Jeffrey has a great understanding of subservient leadership, which means that he is ready to serve those employees he leads. He helps his employees keep balance in their lives, maintain integrity, compassion, respect, teamwork.”
